Gyoza

Cook frozen, no defrosting needed.

PAN FRIED
1. Heat frying pan until hot, add 1 1/2 tbsp. oil.
2. Add Gyoza, cook flat side until slightly brown (approx. 2-3 minutes) over medium heat.
3. Add 1/2 to 3/4 cup of water and cover pan. Cook at low heat for approx. 7-10 mintues. Remove lid and continue to cook until water has dissipated, and the Gyoza is well browned.

DEEP FRIED
Cook frozen at 170-180 degrees until skin is nicely browned (approx. 3 minutes)

STEAMED
Place frozen Gyoza into steamer and steam at high for 6-8 minutes.

Serve with sauce for 1/2 soy sauce and 1/2 vinegar. Add chili oil (Layu Oil) to taste, if desired. For extra zest, try adding grated ginger, garlic, roasted sesame seeds, shichimi togarashi (peppers).
